Michelle is our lead veterinary assistant and has been in the animal care field since 2015. She began her career at Colony Park Animal Hospital volunteering to obtain her veterinary assistant license through a high school program and was later hired as a kennel technician. Life took Michelle to live in Montana and Maryland but in 2019 she was led back here to Durham to reunite at the hospital once again. Michelle enjoys working alongside her teammates in training, dental, surgeries and performing treatments. Michelle has 2 Golden Retrievers named Benny and JJ, two cats named Eeyore and BB8 and lots of guinea pigs. When not spending time with animals you can find Michelle bowling, visiting the mountains and spending time with family.
