Colony Park Celebrates National Dental Month!
January 16th, 2013
February is National Pet Dental Health Month and we are celebrating by offering a 10% discount on your pet's dental procedure during February and March! Dental care is an important part of maintaining your pet’s overall good health and we are committed to helping you achieve the healthiest life possible for your furry friend.By the time they're 4 years old, 85% of dogs and cats show signs of oral disease. If left untreated, oral disease can lead to serious consequences for your pet, including severe pain, bad breath, tooth loss and infection of major organs. If your pet has any of the following symptoms, they should be evaluated by a veterinarian to determine if a dental procedure is needed:
- Bad breath (one of the first signs of periodontal disease)
- Red or swollen gums
- A yellow-brown crust near the gum line
- Discomfort when mouth or gums are touched
- Possible decreased appetite or weight loss due to difficulty chewing
